- Class 10 marksheet/ Certificate
- Class 12 marksheet & Certificate
- Entrance exam scorecard - if applicable
- Graduation marksheet
- Aadhaar Card/ ID proof
- State Domicile Certificate - if applicable
- Caste Certificate - if applicable
- Migration Certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Passport-size photograph

Students have to meet the University of Mysore eligibility to get a seat. The eligibility requirements may change depending on the programme. The basic eligibility is as below:
- Mysore University UG eligibility - Class 12 from a recognised board
- Mysore University PG eligibility - UG degree in a relevant field
- Mysore University PhD eligibility - PG degree in a relevant field

Admission for M.Sc courses will be closed soon on 31st October. To apply for M.Sc student must have first completed its Bachelor in microbiology and then apply in different colleges. Most of the affiliated colleges in Mysore University will close the admission in October end but Maharaja college and Yuvraj college will take admission till November end.
