Either, you must have work experience or must have an extraordinary profile, so that they admit you despite not having work experience. See, you will be competing with applicants in senior managerial roles etc. Figure out, why a university will choose you over them, if you have the right skills they will definitely accept. You must build your application accordingly. Visit their admission requirements website and student profiles.

Hi Priestly,
University of Pennsylvania is one of the top ranking universities in USA and also in the world. Thousands and thousands of students apply and only the best of the best gets selected. This indicates very good GPA is expected, around 8 on a scale of 10. Besides, very good extracurricular activities are also required. In cases where GPA is not very high, it is the student's extracurricular activities which will help him/her. Very good SAT and SAT subject tests scores or ACT, TOEFL etc. will be required. If you are applying for Masters you must take the GRE.

CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is certifications for those who are looking to get into money/asset management. If you are looking to work as an equity research analyst of portfolio manager and other such jobs then CFA can help. But again there are 3 levels of CFA. For it to be of any use you need to clear at least two levels then only you would have enough knowledge to work as an equity research analyst or other such

Hi Shreya, For admissions into UG programmes in US universities including UPenn, you must take SAT and TOEFL. Department specific requirements may be different. Your admissions will not only based on the test scores but also on your overall profile, you must have excellent grades and extracurricular activities. Overall, they seek all rounders. Check the UPenn website and prepare accordingly.

You are eligible to appear for GMAT examination to seek admission in International BSchools. Top BSchools criteria for MBA selection is GMAT score, overall academic performance, SOP, Profile of Students, demonstrated leadership skills, cultural fit to BSchool ethos, recommendation letter. Work experience is preferable but not mandatory. If you have excellent fitment on criteria mentioned above, you can get admission in International BSchools even without experience also.
Every year a large number of freshers get admission in MBA at International BSchools.
All the best.
