You can collect the original 10th marksheet of the UP Board from your respective school where you appeared for the exam. After the result declaration, the board sends the original marksheets to the schools within a few weeks, and students must collect them from there. Until then, the online marksheet serves as a provisional certificate.
If you face issues, you can contact the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) Board office at 9, Sarojni Naidu Marg, Civil Lines, Prayagraj, or check their official website for support

To prepare well, students should first understand the UPMSP Board 10th exam pattern and also the official UP 10th syllabus. They should practice the UP Board 10th sample papers and previous years question papers. Time management during writing and solving the questions is also important. Practicing objective and long answer type questions separately may also helps in scoring better.

Most subjects have a 100-mark paper. Some, like Science and Computer, have theory and practical components (e.g., 70 marks for theory and 30 for practical). Objective questions are usually 20 marks in subjects like Hindi or Science. The rest of the marks are distributed among short and long answer questions. Students are suggested to check the officially releaed marking scheme for better preparation.

The UP Board may make small updates each year, such as the number of objective questions or changes in marks distribution. For the 2025-26 exam, the board has not released any updates for exam pattern. The students are advised to visit this page and official website time to time to check the latest syllabus and pattern released by the UPMSP (Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad).
The official website will have the updated exam pattern and sample papers. Keeping track of any changes helps students prepare well and avoid surprises. It's important to follow only official information.

The UP Board exam question papers includes objective (multiple choice), very short & short answer, and detailed answer type questions. Objective questions usually carry 1 mark each and are based on the full syllabus. Short and long answer questions require students to explain topics in more detail. This mixed pattern helps to test both understanding and writing ability. Students should practice all types of questions during their preparation.
