UP Board schools usually follow the NCERT textbooks. Students need to follow the prescribed books to clear the exams with good marks.

In case a student fails to clear maximum of two subjects, he/she can appear in the compartment exams. Students who will fail in on or Two subject in the main exam will be required to apply for the compartment exam.

The UP Board allots 70 marks for theory exams. On the other hand, 30 marks are allotted for practical examinations. Students are required to obtain at least 33 marks in aggregate in each subject to pass the exam. Students failing to obtain minimum required marks in the exam will fail in the exam. However, the board has provision to give grace marks to those students who fail in any subject with maximum two marks. Such students are given a maximum of two marks and are passed in the exam.

For a better idea on UPMSP 10th pattern, students must practice the official UP Board class 10 sample paper. UP Board conducts the UPMSP class 10 board exam in two mediums, Hindi and English. Students can opt to write answers in the exam in any of these two mediam. However, students must decide their prefered medium in the begining of their exam preparation. This is how they can perfom well in the exam.

Yes, NCERT books are enough for UP Board exam preparations. NCERT Books covers the entire syllabus prescribed by the board. Questions in UP 10th exams are also asked from NCERT Books.

UPMSP is expected to release the final UP Board Class 10 result 2026 in the last week of April 2026. At least a day before releasing the result, the board will announce an exact UP Board class 10 result date 2026. Once declared, the students can check the upmsp 10th result 2026 on the official website of the board.
In 2025, the UPMSP 10th result 2025 was released on April 25, 2025 at 12.30 pm.

The UP Board exams 2026 will be conducted in February and March 2026. You must cover the entire UP Board 10th syllabus to perform well in the exam. However, a large number of students feel nervous during the exam. To stop being nervous, the students must focus on their overall well-being during the exam. In suc condition, they can sit and relax. Get sleep of minimum 7 to 8 hours and get up early and revise the syllabus/topics. Taking 5-10 minutes break during the study i salso helpful.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad released the detailed UPMSP 10th time table 2026. The students can access the same online on the official website of the board and on this page as well. As per the released schedule, Ithe board will hold the UP Board 10th exam 2026 from February 18 to March 12, 2026. The exams will be held in two shifts. The first shift exam will take place from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and the second shift exams from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Students must reach the exam center an hour before to avoid any kind of hassle at the last minute.
