Yes, international students are allowed to do part-time work while studying. Part-time work is a great way to help yourself in paying off your tuition fees. It is not cheap to live in the United States. The cost of living in the United States depends on the tier of the city you live in. Although you are in the United States on a study visa, international students are allowed to work for 20 hours per week on part-time jobs to cover their expenses. There are a lot of part-time jobs available in the United States, you can work as a waiter or cashier in a restaurant. You can even take private tuition classes.

If we talk about the locations where MFA programme is offered in the USA, then California tops the list. A majority of the universities for MFA in USA are located in California namely UCLA, Stanford University, San Diego State University, San Jose State University, University of Southern California, California State University Long Beach, Academy of Art University, etc. Other MFA universities in the USA are located in New York, Texas, Illinois, Florida, etc.
