Hii,
Employers will usually recognise UK qualifications, especially as some US nationals travel to the UK to study, then return home for work. However, when applying for jobs you should confirm that a UK degree will be accepted. Thanks.

1. Select your area of interest
2. Prepare a workplan/SOP according to that consulting existing literature about the topic.
3. Clear GRE/TOEFL/IELTS anyone.
4. Write emails to the faculty/scientist regarding your willingness to join and your cover letter highlighting your workplan.
5. You can apply for different scholarships after getting confirmation from your host guide. Hope this will help you.
