Both have their pros and cons. Pros for B.S. Abroad: Better exposure, better resources, many opportunities for research and internships, Global experience. Cons: Higher fees, living away from home. Pros for B.Tech in India at IITs: Very competitive, less fees but adequate resources. Cons: Limited opportunities for research and limited global exposure.

Hi Avijit,
With 52%, it's going to be a tough call. You can make an attempt by taking the GRE exam and score above 310. But instead of all these, you can apply in countries like Australia, New Zealand and even in Europe. Overall with 52%, it is not going to be easy. You can look for PG Diploma programs abroad and then apply for MS programs.

Hi,
With the changes still going on with H1B visa, one can wait and watch how the things unfold. Though strictness in the visa rule has affected the inflow universities are more than happy to welcome students for studying with them.

Hi,
When you are applying through common application for the course, you may choose which 5 universities you can apply too. Once you have done that, look at their respective website for financial aid for international students and apply to each with required documents.

Very few top universities will consider your application in the US. It depends on your graduation score now. If you have an amazing score in graduation the few universities might consider your application.
