The basic eligibility for this course is 10+2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% in aggregate from CBSE/ICSE/State Board or equivalent. Students who have appeared in 10+2 or any other intermediate level examination and are awaiting results, can also apply for the program and can be admitted on a provisional basis. Admission to most veterinary colleges is given on the basis of results obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned universities. The candidates domiciled in State of Maharashtra who desires to take admission have to appear for MHT-CET Entrance Examination conducted by Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Mumbai and must obtain 50% marks (open category) and 40% marks (reserved category) in the said examination.

The Veterinary Council of India conducts an AICEE for admission to B.VSc degree courses. Besides this, you can also check All India Pre Veterinary Test, College Of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Entrance Exam and Indian Council of Agricultural Research Entrance Examination.
