Veterinarian

The basic eligibility for this course is 10+2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% in aggregate from CBSE/ICSE/State Board or equivalent. Students who have appeared in 10+2 or any other intermediate level examination and are awaiting results, can also apply for the program and can be admitted on a provisional basis. Admission to most veterinary colleges is given on the basis of results obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned universities. Veterinary Council of India conducts an All India Common Entrance examination (AICEE) for admission to first year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) & Animal Husbandry (AH) degree course for filling up seats of each veterinary college of all states including colleges like Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, Bombay Veterinary Science College, Mumbai, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner. This Entrance exam is usually held in the month of May each year.
