Visual communication is the communication of ideas through the visual display of information. Primarily associated with two dimensional images, it includes: art, signs, photography, and typography, drawing fundamentals, color and electronic resources. The course offers students openings in the media industry and advertising industry as art directors, copy writers and account executives; in the television industry as programme executive, camera man and editor; in the film industry as directors, actors and art directors; in IT field as web designers, computer graphics artists and animation personnel, interface designers; in the photography industry as photo journalists, advertising photographer, fashion photographer, industrial photographer and wildlife photographer. After UG course, you can earn between INR 15k- INR 30k monthly when you start.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Eligibility criteria depends on the course. For example, in case of B.Sc. Visual Communication course, 10+2 Science stream schooling is required. In case of BA course, 10+2 pass in any stream is enough. For Diploma course, 10+2 pass in any stream is enough. In case of B.Sc. Visual Media course, 10+2 pass in any stream is enough. The eligibility criteria may also differ from one institute to another. Some institutes do give admission to 10+2 passed students from any stream, even in Science (B.Sc. ) programs. Admission is usually given to meritorious students on the basis on merit marks in board examination and state wise entrance test. In case of some reputed institutes, private screening test/qualifying examination may also exist. Regards.
