Most universities in India do NOT allow lateral entry into general B.Sc courses like Visual Communication after just 1 year.Lateral entry is more common in engineering/diploma to B.Tech or paramedical fields, but rare in creative arts like Visual Communication.

Rather you can get a transfer by contacting the specific college you want to take admission.

Visual Communication courses are offered at various levels, types, and modes. Hence, the entrance exams for their admission may also differ. The minimum or maximum score cutoff for every entrance exam varies based on its difficulty and demand. For instance, BDes in Visual Communication applicants who opted for UCEED require a minimum of 100 marks to qualify.
