Yes, once you clear all your backlogs, the institution will definitely be able to give you an opportunity to seek placement during the season, provided of course that you fulfil other criteria if any that have been stated by your college. The minimum eligibility criteria for MBA programme from VIT are as under:-
1. A minimum of 60% mark is required in undergraduate degree from a recognized University or Institution.
2. A Bachelor's degree should be of minimum of three years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent.
3. The candidate should have studied in regular full-time programmes.
4. The candidates appearing for final year examination in 2018, whose results will be published before August 2018, are also eligible to apply.
5. Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.

For VIT, it is minimum 60% marks in class 12th. For BITS, it is 75% marks.

Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply.
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible to apply.
Application form will be available from the first week of April 2018.
The Admission will be on the basis of the performance in the qualifying examination (10+2).
The candidates short-listed based on their merit will be called for the counselling.
