Yes, but only specific branches like biotechnology, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, etc. They must meet the requirement of studying - BPCEA version of exam. Candidates must go through VITEEE eligibility criteria carefully.

Students have to meet the VIT Vellore course eligibility to get admission in the university. The requirements and minimum percentage may change depending on the programme and specialisation. The common eligibility however, is as below:

  • VIT Vellore UG eligibility - Class 12 with required subjects from a recognised board
  • VIT Vellore PG eligibility - UG degree in relevant field from a recognised university
  • VIT Vellore PhD eligibility - PG degree in relevant field from a recognised university

To apply for the VIT LLB courses through the VITLEE 2026 exam, you must meet certain rules set by VIT School of Law (VITSOL) Chennai.

  • You should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognised board.
  • A minimum of 60% marks in your qualifying exam is usually required (for SC/ST and some reserved categories, relaxation may apply).
  • You must have studied subjects suitable for law courses.
  • Candidates appearing for their final exams in 2026 can also apply for the VITLEE application form 2026.

These conditions apply for both BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programs under the VIT law application process.

To be eligible for BTech at VIT-AP, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme must be Class 12 from a recognised board.

VIT Vellore offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at VIT Vellore, candidates must be Class 12 passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST and others).

Easy Explanation: VIT B.Tech Admission According to the Ranks

  • If your rank is up to 1 lakh, you can get admission in VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai.
  • If your rank is above 1 lakh, you can only get admission in VIT Bhopal or VIT Andhra Pradesh.
  • You won't be eligible for Vellore or Chennai campuses.

When seeking admission to B.Com programs at VIT-AP School of Business, they should have passed their Class 12 (or equivalent exam) in a recognised board with minimum aggregate of 55%. Also, those applicants born on and after July 1, 2005, can now apply in the year 2025. Admission is on a merit basis, based on 12 th grade marks and then there is the Personal Interview (PI). In B.Com the main course offered is in Finance.
