Hi Soham,
Congratulations for CET score. But I can't tell you whether you can get into VIT or not without knowing the branch of your interest and whether you are in general or other categories. You can fill out the form with the branches of your interest. I guess, you can get VIT for 2/3 specific branches.

Your board marks have nothing to do with VIT scholarship. You have to write VITEEE exam and get the good rank under 1000 to get scholarship in VIT.

Hi Prabhakar, Your query is not clear. However, as far as your son's education at BITS Pilani, he can get scholarships during his study. There are scholarships provided at BITS Pilani: Merit Cum Need Scholarships

It's better to join VIT Vellore branch. With you rank, you can get CSE core branch there and Vellore has a reputation of good placements. So, I prefer you to take VIT, Vellore branch and it is far better than KITEEE.

At my admission time, there was only Vellore and Chennai branch two years ago and these branches are recently opened by VIT. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000. So, you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that. Graduation: The minimum ability to apply is 60%.

Yes, you are eligible if you have better rank in MAT. There is 5% relaxation for Sc/MNC/ST candidates.
A minimum of 60% marks is required in the undergraduate degree from a recognized university or institution.
The Bachelor's degree should be of minimum 3 years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent.
The candidates should have studied in regular full-time programmes.
The candidate appearing for final year examination in the current academic year, whose results get published before August, is also eligible to apply. Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.
