Go with the JEE Mains counselling and you should search for some good private institutions near your region. It would be well and good if you consider Narsee also as an option.

Definitely, it's LIT-Nagpur. But the only problem is temperature. I knew that I won't be able to bare that atmosphere and temperature. So, I took admission in VIT, Pune. And in terms of placements, LIT-Nagpur is quite good as compared to VIT.

You have got very good marks in 12th and I see no difficulty for you to get admission in your desired college. Don't worry. Apply immediately. All the required information is available on the website of the Institute that will help you in the process.

VIT University conducts its own entrance exam in which it is important to be in the top 20,000 to grab any seat. SCOE is difficult but not impossible on the provided data. You can sit for counselling and try your luck.

Instrumentation department of VIT-Pune is getting very good placements since last two years. I don't know the placement scenario of IIIT. Branch wise, CSE is better if you're getting it too. But check for placements.

There is no computer science in VIT, but there is computer engineering. Frankly speaking, you won't get it in first or second round. You'll have to wait. You may get it later. All the best!

However, your rank is far beyond to get admission in these colleges.

There are many pluses and minuses of both of these colleges. So, you should mention basis. Like on what basis you want me to do this comparison!

Teaching staff of VIT, Pune is relatively good. Most of them teach concepts in depth. Talking about placements from average students point of view, opportunity is given to everyone equally whether he is an average student or not, but it depends on student himself, whether he is capable of grabbing that opportunity.

Chances are there for you as you belong from OBC category.
