The selection criteria for B.E. and B.Tech courses at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) in Mumbai, India depends on the course and the candidate's state: 

B.E.: A minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 with relevant subjects 

B.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering: A minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational, Computer Science, IT, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies 

B.Tech. in Electronics and Computer Science: A minimum of 45% marks in 12th 

B.Tech. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: A minimum of 45% marks in 12th 

B.Tech. in Information Technology: Admission is through counseling based on marks in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) or rank in JEE-Mains 

The results of the semester exam of the students of VIT - Vidyalankar Institute of Technology are usually announced within 30 to 40 days from the date of the final examinations. However, depending on the semester and the academic year, the exact result declaration date in question may considerably differ.
