If the applicant wants a fee waiver, then she or he must have a counsellor, or another school official, request an Admission Application Fee Waiver for a student who meets an indicator of economic need, such as those eligible for free or reduced lunch, to have the student's $40 application fee waived. Once the Admissions Office receives the request, we will send you a fee waiver code to use to finish your application.

In order to work while studying in WNEU, international students must follow the eligibility criteria listed below:

• The job must be on-campus and students can only work a maximum of 20 hours per week (unless it is a school break);
• Have a Social Security Number;
• Must complete I-9 paperwork with Human Resources.

Exchange Students will need employment authorization from ISSS. Authorization is employer-specific; if there is a change in the employment (including position, hiring unit, or number of hours per week), a new authorization is required. Employment authorization is valid for a maximum of one year.

Western New University's prospective students can apply to the university either through the Common Application or WNEU's Online Application. While applying, all the applicants are required to submit a set of documents, which are:

• Completed online application along with application fee/fee waiver;
• Official academic transcripts;
• Copy of passport;
• PTE / IELTS / TOEFL
• Personal statement;
• Official GMAT/GRE scores;
