XIME Chennai has always had high placement percentages for its PGDM course. In 2023, the institute had a 100% placement ratio, with the highest package at INR 14.4 LPA and an average package at INR 9 LPA. However, the placement percentage dipped in 2024 to 94.4%, the highest package going up to INR 14.10 LPA and the average package going up to INR 8.60 LPA. XIME Chennai has been ranked by several agencies. Business Today ranked it 66th among India's top private B-schools in 2020. Competition Success Review – GHRDC ranked it 4th among 'Top Leading B-Schools of Super Excellence' for the same year. Nonetheless, it should be remembered that XIME Chennai doesn't have a place in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings, which are usually regarded as a benchmark in India. Thus, though these rankings do give some indication, they may not accurately represent the present position of the institute.
