Both of the fields are better at their places but the thing that matters is your interest and dedication towards them. You can choose anyone between them. Forensic science is a more applied field and microbiology is a classical one. If you are looking for a job after M.Sc then forensic science is a good option. However, you are not in a hurry and more keen towards medical and health issues then go for microbiology.

1. 10+2 - 50%
2. Candidate must have scored mentioned marks without the mark in extra optional if any.
3. Candidate must have biology as an optional subject. There are total of 32 seats for B.Sc zoology in Ravenshaw University. So, your chance of getting seat is very low because admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 but hope for the best.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for M.Sc in Microbiology after B.Sc in zoology if you have studied microbiology as a subject in your graduation.
Good luck.
