Admission to the BSc in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology at Christian Medical College, Vellore, is not based on the scores obtained in any entrance exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed Class 12 in a relevant stream from a reputed board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Applicant pursuing M.Sc. in Film Making at MIT School of Film and Theatre, ADT University should be a bachelor degree holder in any discipline or equivalent. Further they should clear the entrance tests held in the institute that are comprised of an online aptitude test, creative test and personal interview. Personal Interview tests the ability of the candidate to analyze himself/herself, the socio-political awareness, and his knowledge about cinema and culture. This broad selection process can prepare the students to meet all the requirements of the filmmaking world.

Candidates interested to pursue BA Theatre Arts/BA Music course through Calicut University Common Admission Test (CUCAT) should have should have done Class 12 from Kerala State Board or a recognised board in any stream and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate. With CUCAT, candidates can get admission in various other courses. Candidates are suggested to check the Shiksha's page to know about detailed eligibility criteria.

The eligibility for MA in Theatre and Film Production at Punjabi University includes a minimum of 50% aggregate in the Bachelor Degree (45% marks for SC/ST). The admission process is based on the "Audition Test", conducted by the department. The overall seat intake for the specialisations is 28 and lasts for two years. And MA fee is around INR 18,700 - INR 1.6 lakh.
