Ashoka is a liberal arts university. DU offers courses in all streams. There are certain points to consider. If you are getting Tier1 colleges like LSR, Stephen's or Hindu etc. Then skip Ashoka. If not, then for subjects like History, English Sociology, Psychology or Political Science, Ashoka is a good choice. But if your ultimate goal is to prepare for civil services then DU will be better. Ashoka follows the educational pedagogy of the West. If you want it, you better go for it. If you are tired of rote learning. Or you want a change of air. But also consider the fees. Since Ashoka is too new to be trusted, it is not very wise to pay that much for her. DU is affordable. Also note that the NIRF rankings of both universities are
University of Delhi is ranked 13
And Ashoka University is ranked 88
University of Delhi is government university but Ashoka university is private University.

There is no set cutoff as such but the average board percentage lies somewhere around 92% for both the present batches. However, there are people with board scores as low as in the 70s. Ashoka's selection procedure is holistic and lays equal stress on both academics and curriculars. If you have a slightly low score in the boards but are exceptional in curriculars and the admissions team sees that you have potential, you will be selected.

Ashoka University is a private university in sonepat, Haryana. It offers a great culture to the students along with quality education. The fee is quiet high but quiet worth the money. Nevertheless, they provide scholarships and financial aid to deserving students. This program is about 3 year with a total fee around 25 lakhs. Admissions are on entrance and merit basis. Entrance is not very competitive and you can easily get through it. As if, they do not have a minimum cut off.

LPUs business school is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and programme (ACBSP). Recently Ministry of Human Resource Government of India Ranked Lovely Professional University No. 2 in India in Management. This course will give you an exposure in management field. After completing BBA you can go for MBA. MBA will provide highly challenging job for you. Different specializations are there in MBA. If you are looking for a career in marketing, then MBA in Marketing is a good option, Because now a days mostly companies recruited students for marketing jobs Every year Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies likes Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, SAP Labs, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, Federal Bank, Moodys Analytics, Blue Star, Zomato, Berger Paints, Marico, Havells, Apollo Munich Health Insurance, CavinCare, Hetitch, Nerolac Paints, Oyo Rooms, S& P Global Market Intelligence, HDFC Bank, Swiggy, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Luminous Power etc. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. LPU provides different classes for placements which helps in grooming. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interview skills right from the 1st year, continuously for 2/3/4 ( duration of course) years till they get the job. Besides core subjects, you'll also get subjects like communication, verbal, analytical skills and soft skills to improve personality and employability and be more productive. They have Collaboration/ Tie up with companies like NSE, Safe Educate, ICICI Direct, IDFC, etc. For pursuing live projects and/ or professional certifications like NCCMP, NCFM, etc.
