DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU. However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Getting into UCMS Delhi might be challenging with 655 marks in NEET 2023. The minimum qualifying mark for General category students in the NEET 2022 exam was 500, and the last rank for getting into UCMS Delhi was 30,000. This suggests that you would need to score in the top 30,000 to get into UCMS Delhi with 655 marks. However, it's important to remember that the NEET cut-offs vary every year depending on a number of factors, such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of students who take the exam, and the number of seats available. This means that it's not possible to say for certain whether or not you will get into UCMS Delhi with 655 marks. Here are some tips for improving your chances of getting into UCMS Delhi:Prepare thoroughly for the NEET exam. This means studying the NCERT textbooks thoroughly, practicing with NEET-style questions, and getting enough sleep the night before the exam.Apply to multiple colleges. This will increase your chances of getting into a good college, even if you don't get into UCMS Delhi.Consider applying for a private medical college. Private medical colleges are often more expensive than government medical colleges, but they can still provide a good education.Don't give up. If you don't get into UCMS Delhi this year, you can always try again next year. With hard work and dedication, you can achieve your dream of becoming a doctor.I hope this helps!

Yes, starting 2023 academic year, the University of Delhi will only consider scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test-PG (CUET-PG) for admissions to post-graduate courses. This is the first time that post-graduate admissions to DU will be based on CUET-PG. The change in the admission process to postgraduate courses was proposed by the 10-member committee. Additionally, separate merit lists will also be prepared for the candidates who will clear the CUET PG 2023 exam. The university, in an official notification, also added that, "Before appearing for CUET-PG, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the course-specific eligibility". For this, candidates must check university's PG bulletin for information on selecting CUET test papers as per the requirements of the specific programmes. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases. Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.Step 2: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists which will be out on August 1, August 10 and August 22, 2023, respectively for all categories. The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & collegeIf they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.Step 3: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.
