The calculation of CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) at Maharaja Agrasen College is typically based on the grading system and credit system followed by the college. The specific details and calculation methodology may be outlined in the college's academic regulations or student handbook. Here's a general overview of how CGPA is calculated:
1. Grading System: Maharaja Agrasen College may use a grading system where each course or subject is assigned a grade based on the student's performance. The grading scale usually ranges from A+ to E, with A+ being the highest grade and E indicating failure.
2. Credit System: The college may follow a credit system where each course or subject is assigned a certain number of credits based on its academic weightage or workload. The credit value reflects the importance or significance of the course within the curriculum.
3. Grade Points: Each grade is assigned a specific grade point value. For example, A+ may be assigned a grade point of 10, A may be assigned a grade point of 9, and so on. The grade points are used to quantify the quality of the student's performance in each course.
4. Credit Weighted Average: To calculate the CGPA, the grade points earned in each course are multiplied by the credit value of that course. The credit weighted grade points for all courses are added together.
5. Total Credits: The total credits earned by the student for all completed courses are calculated by summing the credits of each course.
6. CGPA Calculation: The CGPA is then obtained by dividing the total credit weighted grade points by the total credits earned. It's important to note that the exact calculation methodology, grading scale, and credit system may vary between colleges and institutions. Therefore, it's advisable to refer to the specific guidelines provided by Maharaja Agrasen College or consult the college administration for accurate and up-to-date information on CGPA calculation and grading policies.

The college itself has a hostel but is closed for now and is under maintenance. As the college is in north campus, there are dozens of PG owners just waiting for you to buy a PG with them. You can easily find the number of brokers online. There are even many startups by students to provide PG facilities to new students. Although I would suggest, take utter care when renting with them. You can also rent a flat with a few of your friends. And lastly there is also the university hostel facility where in you can apply and you might get a room.
