Secondly, the candidate must have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination. For the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) programme, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. However, for the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics programme, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination, including a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics/Business Mathematics. As for the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science, and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History programs, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. But wait, there's more! In addition to meeting the above criteria, candidates must also take note of the Common Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUCET). This national-level entrance examination is conducted by the university, and candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must appear for CUCET and score the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for admission. So, there you have it! To be eligible for CAT a candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a recognised university or educational institution. There is no restriction on the type of Bachelor's degree or the discipline in which it is obtained. Therefore, if you have completed your graduation from SOL, DU, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, you can apply for CAT. However, it is important to note that admission to the MBA programme offered by the Iims and other participating institutes is based on a rigorous selection process that includes CAT score, academic performance, work experience (if any), and other criteria specified by the respective institutes.
