You can take admission on the basis of a good score in 12th, you can apply online or CUET Exams are also being held, you can appear in that also.
For BHU, there is a separate test, appear in that.

I assume DU refers to the University of Delhi, and CUET refers to the Common Entrance Test conducted by the University of Delhi for admission to undergraduate courses. The selection criteria for admission to undergraduate courses at the University of Delhi vary depending on the course and the college. However, in general, the University considers the best four subjects of the candidate in their qualifying examination (I. e. , Class 12 board exams or equivalent). The University usually provides a list of courses for which the admission process requires a certain combination of subjects in the qualifying examination. Therefore, it is not about treating subjects equally, but rather choosing the best four subjects based on their relevance to the course applied for. If a course requires a specific subject combination, then the candidate's performance in those subjects will be given more weightage. It is essential to note that the University of Delhi updates its admission policies and criteria regularly, and candidates are advised to refer to the official website of the University or the concerned college for the latest information.

We cant say better but yes you will get more opportunities in North campus. Colleges in North Campus have walking distance between them. So, we can easily visit any college. Law faculty, Arts faculty Social Science faculty all are in North Campus. We can talk and interact with many students from there. They are more experienced than us. Faculty in North Campus is better than South Campus. Butin some colleges of South Campus faculty is extraordinary. Most of the post graduation and Ph.D. Courses are taught in North Campus. Since colleges in North campus are not too far so students from different colleges can interact with each other and share their notes, books and readings.
