M.Com from Delhi University is preferred over MBA for its in-depth study of commerce subjects and for those interested in research or teaching. It offers career opportunities in fields like banking, auditing, stock broking, and management consulting. The admission process involves either direct entry based on graduation CGPA or an entrance exam, with the university preparing a merit list for admissions. While it's considered easier to get into compared to top MBA institutions, the competition can still be high, especially for prestigious colleges like Delhi School of Economics or Shri Ram College of Commerce.
