Hi Suraj, for the past 5-6 years the admission scenario in DU has become extremely competitive where the cutoffs sore was extremely high. The benchmark for the first cutoff list is generally above 95% in most colleges and the final cut off list barely goes below 90%. It is a difficult call for the candidates who belong to the general category. I have attached a link to the page which shows the cut-off list of previous two years for all DU colleges, please go through it: http://www.du.ac.in/du/index.php?page=cut-off-2017
http://www.du.ac.in/du/index.php?page=cut-off-2016.
Also, there is a deduction of 2.5-5% marks in your board exam results if you want to change your stream in college. Please go through our Shiksha link which talks about this in detail: https://www.shiksha.com/humanities-social-sciences/articles/du-admissions-2016-marks-disadvantage-for-stream-change-blogId-12957.
Visit the DU site regularly in order to stay updated about admissions this year. They usually commence in the month of May. The name of the site is www.du.ac.in. Cheers!

For admission for Science stream in DU, you require minimum 55% in aggregate marks. Each year, cut off percentage in DU admission varies. Higher the percentage, better will be the college for admission.

The forms will be out in April or May. You need to buy a booklet from the list on bank branches and fill the form online then you need to give your preference for college. In your case FMS as the first option as it is a centralized process for all colleges in Gujarat. You will get admissions in FMS only if you scored more than 93% in CMAT 2018. Best of luck.
