Hello Aparna,
Greetings, First of all let me tell you that DU has only journalism courses available and not mass communication. Journalism is just mere a small phrase of mass communication. Secondly, IPU only select colleges that are good, but the amount of exposure and experience you will receive from NIMC is incomparable to any other institutes. Having it's own in house production house, and some really needed equipment such as teleprompter, radio console, Macintosh software etc makes this unique and special.

Hi Kavita,
Candidates seeking admission under ECA quota, first need to register themselves on the official website of Delhi University. It may be noted that at the time of online registration for DU admission 2017, candidates need to upload their ECA certificate which will work as an evidence of their participation in a particular ECA. It may also be noted that the certificate should not be more than three years old. DU admissions 2017 for ECA category candidates will be done on the basis of merit which will be determined through marks earned by a candidate under following headers/categories:
Certificates (25% weightage)
Trials (75% weightage)
It is essential as there are many students for whom it is difficult to score 98% in boards and get in DU but through ECA/sports quota this procedure could become slightly easy.

The best college for pursuing Political Science for you would be Hindu college, they have their own parliament. Other good colleges for this subject are Kirori Mal, Sri Venkateswara, Ramjas among a few others.
