Delhi University
Pros: Brand name, good academics, good Fests and societies. No attendance issues.
Cons: Bottom colleges are decent in terms of academics and placements.
Maharaja Surajmal Institute
Pros: Reputation, discipline, great academics and good placements.
Cons: Attendance issues.
To sum it up, if you're planning to pursue CA/CS/IAS, etc., along with your graduation then I would recommend Delhi University as it has less attendance issues plus shorter duration of classes.
Otherwise, if you have no such intention or you get a bottom college of Delhi University you may consider Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's an equally reputed college with good academics.
All the best.

Hi Anchal,
FMS Delhi has historically not been considering past academic scores while making the list of candidates to be called for extempore+ PI round for admission to its flagship MBA program.
CAT score is used as the admission criteria and my advice to you would be to score as high as possible in CAT exam. A good CAT score of 99.6+ percentile will put you in a really good position to get admission into FMS Delhi.
If it chooses to introduce some weightage to past academic scores then you may be at a slight disadvantage because of your 10th standard percentage of 70 to compensate for this, you would be required to score higher in CAT and increase your chances of getting an interview call.
All the best!!

Spend your time in evaluating from which portions questions are being asked. Once you have done that then revise from your books.

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) and XLRI, Jamshedpur are two top class premier B-School in the country. They are in the same league as they both have the ability and tie-up with many big firms who are recruiting their students for placement. Also their top class faculty and infrastructure enable the student to excel in the field of management.
So you can go in any one of these fields. To get into XLRI you are to qualify XAT and after that GD-PI and to qualify for admission to FMS you have to score good in CAT after that you have to appear in GD-PI for the same. Both are top class and no doubt you can choose any one you go. FMS has relative small batch size as compared to XLRI.Therefore it is easier to excel in FMS as compared to XLRI with large batch size .
Hope this information helps.

There's a book by Arihant but it's best if you get material from somewhere.
Ideally, you should join Pratham as it's the best institute when it comes to entrance preparation. (Bias towards Pratham as I was a a student there).
Make sure that you are up to date with class 12th maths as that's likely to be asked and it's a section of which most students are scared.
Gk is pretty basic but log on to clatgyaan and check out their yearly compendium.
Verbal is simple, logical reasoning needs a little practice though.
Finally, check out last year's papers on the website to get a fair idea of what your weak areas are and work on them.

Yes, you can apply. There will be no issue. In fact, there are many students in SSCBS who drop one year and then get admission here.
But, just be prepared to justify your one year gap in the interview round.

Hi Sherin Lal,
There is no doubt that the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi offers one of the best Executive MBA Programs not just in Delhi but all over the country.
Its pool of students is quite diverse with varied quantum and nature of work experience, some of which span over several decades. Its executive MBA program conducts its classes in the evening itself, thereby providing good opportunities to working professionals to attend classes after their work hours.
The faculty at FMS-Delhi too are top class with several honors to their name and have rich experience of teaching full time as well as E-MBA students for several years.
You may visit the official institute website at www.fms.edu to learn more about its executive MBA programme.
