However a minimum eligibility criteria (based on your board result) for appearing for the entrance is set, which varies from year to year. The entrance is based on general awareness ,current affairs , english comprehension, grammatical and analytical skills . Since it's a self financed course and allows access to advanced equipment and device offered by the college, the fees is in about Rs. 70,000 per year.

First of all, every college is good. Be it IIM or FMS, every college has its own merits and demerits. Hence, it becomes more of a personal choice on which college to select.
However, according to my personal opinion, if you are interested in marketing then FMS is the college for you and if you finance focused, then concentrate on IIMs, especially IIM Calcutta.

The general cut off for admission in FMS DU lies between 96 to 99 percentile. To get admission in FMS BHU, the cut off lies between 70 to 85 percentile.
