Not at all. Dayananda Sagar University provides a really high amount of opportunity to the candidates that want to apply to a course at DSU. There are many pathways that a person can choose from in order to get admission to Dayananda Sagar University. For a person to apply for a UG or PG course, he can take other examinations. There are many pathways provided by the university.A student can join Dayananda Sagar University through valiant methods. As we are talking about the Joint Entrance Exams, that means you are interested in admission to the UG courses at the college. In order to get admission in UG courses at DSU University, a candidate must either clear JEE, Karnataka CET, or COMEDK. One can also apply for the DSAT exam that is conducted by the college itself to get admission into an UG course. Direct seats for DSU College can also be allotted to a candidate through management quota on 10th and 12th standard board marks. But this is like a balance between competition and pocket-friendly tuition fees. If a person gets a seat in the college through direct admission, the fee structure will vary. For a person who gets a seat by clearing an entrance exam, the chances of getting a seat in college are higher. Although he or she would face competition and it would be a tough pathway for someone to choose, the college would provide them with scholarships in order to keep them equal to the person getting direct admission. For management quota seats, one must have a minimum of 70% in math and science subjects separately in 10th grade and a minimum of 65% in math and physics subjects separately in 12th grade. The candidate should also appear in either CET, COMEDK, JEE Mains, or Un-Gauge and avail a seat in the college with their course of interest in order to get admission to DSU.

At Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is calculated based on the grading system and credit hours assigned to each course. Here's a general overview of how CGPA is calculated at DSU:Grade Points: Each course at DSU is assigned a specific number of credits, which represents its weightage in the overall calculation. Additionally, each grade is associated with a corresponding grade point. The grade points at DSU typically follow a scale from 10 to 4, where 10 is the highest grade point (usually denoted as 'S' for Satisfactory) and 4 is the lowest passing grade point (usually denoted as 'D').Credit Hours: Each course has a designated number of credit hours, which reflects the amount of time and effort required to complete the course successfully. The credit hours assigned to a course indicate its weightage in the overall CGPA calculation.Grade Point Average (GPA) Calculation: To calculate the GPA for a particular semester, the grade points earned in each course are multiplied by the corresponding credit hours for that course. The sum of these products is divided by the total credit hours taken in that semester.
