Dayananda Sagar University Course Admission 2026: Application, Fee, Eligibility & Selection

Dayananda Sagar University offers more than 20 courses at UG and PG levels through seven schools. The top courses includes, MBBA, BTech, MBA, MSc, etc. DSU Bangalore admissions are primarily entrance-based. The university conducts DSAT for admission to various UG and PG programmes. Direct admission is also offered based on national-level entrance exam scores. 

Candidates who have completed Class 12, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate to apply for DSU Bangalore BCA programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

DSAT exam can be taken both Online as well as Offline, you are free to choose your preferred mode of Exam.The online DSAT exam can be taken at the convenience of your home.You will receive an email with the required DSAT exam link, you can take the exam using the link which will be shared with you one day prior to the DSAT exam.The Offline DSAT exam will be conducted in Dayananda Sagar University, Innovation Campus, Hosur Main Road, Kudlu Gate, Bengaluru. 

The Dayananda Sagar University primarily accepts the DSAT (Dayananda Sagar Admission Test) for the BSc programme. DSAT is a common exam for all DSU courses. Students have to clear this exam for getting admission to the DSU BSc programme.

The university also offers direct admission to courses offered at Main and City Innovation campuses. DSU Bangalore invites applications for the Dayananda Sagar Admission Test (DSAT) for admission to some of the UG and PG courses. The university offers more than 20 courses at UG and PG levels in multiple streams such as Engineering, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, etc.

Candidates need to fill the NEET application form online. Morever, candidates need to pay the NEET form fees online through credit card/ debit card, net banking or UPI. In case of any technical or server issues, candidates can visit the Common Service Centres (CSC).

Yes, a student can join Dayananda Sagar University without JEE. JEE is not required to get a seat in Dayananda Sagar University as the college does its own examination which a person needs to pass. JEE mains result does not matter to the college. In order to get admission in UG courses at DSU University, a candidate must either clear JEE, Karnataka CET, COMEDK, or Uni-GAUGE in order to avail a seat in the college through online or offline counseling after the announcement of the result of the respective entrance exams. One can also apply for the DSAT exam that is conducted by the college itself to get admission into an undergraduate course. Direct seats for DSU College can also be allotted to a candidate through management quota on 10th and 12th standard board marks.

For management quota seats, one must have a minimum of 70% in math and science subjects separately in 10th grade and a minimum of 65% in math and physics subjects separately in 12th grade. The candidate should also appear in either CET, COMEDK, or JEE Mains.

Dayananda Sagar University offers various courses at UG and PG level in full-time mode. Admissions to the respective courses is offered on the basis of merit and accepted entrance exams. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 and graduation. Furthermore, the fees structure of the respective courses includes total tuition fees ranging from INR 1 Lacs to INR 18.9 Lakh. 

Candidates can seek admission at Dayananda Sagar University or DSU by applying for the admission process through the official website. Candidates must also apply for the respective entrance exams accepted by DSU. The University considers merit based eligibility, considering Class 12 aggregate or graduation aggregate along with the valid entrance exam scores. The hostel accommodation fees at DSU (Dayananda Sagar University) vary depending on the type of hostel and occupancy. For the DSU Girls Hostel with 3 occupancy, the fee is set at INR 1,20,000, along with a messing (food) fee of INR 80,000 and additional charges for laundry and a refundable hostel security deposit. The total payable per student in this case amounts to INR 2,17,500. Similarly, for the DSU Girls Hostel with 4 occupancy and the Private Boys Hostel "S Residences" with 4 occupancy, the total payable per student is INR 1,87,500. For girl students at the Nursing Hostel, the fee is lower, with INR 50,000 for 4 occupancy and INR 35,000 for 6 occupancy. In all cases, there are fixed and non-refundable components for hostel accommodation, messing (food) fees, laundry charges, and a refundable hostel security deposit.

The DSU KCET cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BTech courses for all rounds and categories under the All India and Home State quota. 

For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 24798 to 121064.5, wherein the most competitive course for admission was B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering.

Yes, the Dayananda Sagar University offers BSc programme in full-time mode with the duration of 3 years. The MSc is a semester-based programme at DSU. Yes, Dayananda Sagar University offers MBA admission through Karnataka PGCET. Seats in DSU will be allotted only for the students whose PGCET rank is below 5000. Once the aspirants are shortlisted based on Karnataka PGCET, they are directly allotted seat in the MBA course of the university.
