Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can visit the university's official website to register their candidature. They can then log in using the log in credentials generated during the registration process and fill out the application form. The form must be submitted along with a non-refundable application fee of INR 500. The university shortlists applicants based on their scores in CUET UG. IUST Awantipora BSc admission is primarily entrance-based. The university accepts CUET UG scores to provide admission to candidates who fulfil the preset eligibility crietria. Only the candidates who have completed Class 12 with the minimum required aggregate and relevant subjects are eligible for admission. Admission to BSc in Nursing is based on the norms of J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE). Candidates who do not have a valid exam score can apply for admission against vacant seats (if any). However, preference is given to candidates with a valid entrance exam score.

As per the available information, there is no provision for direct admission to the MBA programme of IUST Awantipora. Admission is granted to applicants who fulfil the preset eligibility and selection criteria. Only the candidates who have passed Graduation (Class 12 in the case of Integrated MBA programme) with the minimum required aggregate are eligible for admission.Further, candidates must have a valid CMAT/MAT/CUET PG (CUET UG for the Integrated MBA programme) score to be considered for the selection process. Candidates who do not have a valid exam score can also apply for admission against vacant seats (if any). However, preference is given to candidates with a valid score on one of the accepted entrance exams.
