Islamic University of Science and Technology has released the merit lists for both UG and PG courses in the form of notifications on the official website. The merit list contains the form numbers of candidates who have been selected for further process of admission for UG courses through CUET scores as well as for PG courses offered through CUET PG. Candidates can check their admission status by cross checking their form numbers. Mationed below is step- by step process to check the IUST merit lists 2023:

The selection process for B.Tech at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) is based on the performance in the JEE Main Paper 1 and the normalized score of the qualifying examination. IUST take top 2,50,000 JEE Main qualified candidates who have appeared for class 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

For admission to the MBA programme at IUST (Islamic University of Science and Technology), the entrance exam scores accepted are:

Selection for the MBA programme is based on the scores obtained by the candidate in either CMAT (conducted by AICTE) or the score obtained by the candidate in the IUST MAT admission test conducted by IUST in collaboration with AIMA.

A weightage of 60% is given to the CMAT/IUST MAT score, and the remaining 40% weightage is given to Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

In total, IUST Awantipora has 220 seats for MBA. These seats are further distributed over the three MBA courses offered at the university. The university allots these seats to eligible candidates based on their performance in the accepted entrance exams, following the preset seat reservation policy. IUST Awantipora and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) are offer full-time BSc courses in various specialisations. Both these universities are situated in Jammu & Kashmir. The tuition fees for various IUST Awantipora BSc courses range between INR 1.2 Lacs and INR 2.8 lakh. On the other hand, the BSc fees at SMVDU range between INR 85,600 and INR 3 lakh. Comparing the two, SMVDU seems to be the more affordable option for most BSc specialisations. Candidates must compare the fees for their desired specialisations before making the final choice. In total, there are 180 Diploma seats at IUST Awantipora. These seats are equally divided among the three Diploma specialisations offered at the university. IUST Awantipora accepts JEE Main (Paper 1) scores for admission to its BTech courses (except in BTech in Food Technology. These entrance exams are conducted by the NTA. The exact exam dates vary yearly. JEE Main (Paper 1) is usually conducted in January every year.

For admission to BTech in Food Technology, the university accepts CUET UG (relevant subject) scores. CUET UG is usually conducted around May - June every year.
