The basic requirement for eligibility to get the admission to BUMS programme is qualifying for the 10+2 examination with 50% marks. The candidate must have physics, chemistry, and biology in the 12th class.Candidate must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination recognized by the concerned State Government and Education Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually and have obtained the above mentioned marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidate must have also passed the 10th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject, or clear the test of Urdu of 10th Standard (wherever there is provision to conduct of such test) in the entrance examination conducted by the University or Board or registered Society or Association authorized by the Government to conduct such examination. The lower age limit is 17 years and upper age limit is 25 years (30 years for SC, ST, OBC, and physically handicapped candidates) on or before the 31st December of the year of admission. Candidate must have secured 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC, ST and OBC candidates) percentile in NEET.

Jamia Hamdard has released multiple selection lists for its UG, PG, and PhD programmes for admission to the academic year 2021-22. The first selection list for MBA (Pharmaceutical Management) and MBA (Public Health Management & Hospital Administration) was out on July 26, 2021 followed by first to twenty selection lists for numerous UG and PG courses, such as BTech, BSc, BCA, MCA, MA and MTech, among others. These selection lists include the name of students who were shortlisted on the basis of fulfilling the minimum eligibility requirements set by the industry.
The deemed-to-be University, however, will be conducting a counselling round followed by the release of final merit lists. The schedule for the same is not out yet. This page will be updated once the schedule is released.
