For reserved category students, the admission criteria for Master of Public Health (MPH) at JNU is based on the performance in the Central University Entrance Test (CUET (PG) 2025, and deprivation points earned by the eligible candidates. The University has a reservation policy, where 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and 10% for EWS candidates. Additionally, 5% of seats are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWD). The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PWD categories are eligible for admission under their respective reserved categories. The selection procedure involves merit-based admission, where candidates are selected based on their performance in the CUET (PG) 2025 and deprivation points. Deprivation points are awarded to candidates from Quartile 1 or 2 districts, and to female/transgender candidates. It is essential for candidates to carefully review the admission policy and procedures outlined in the JNU e-Prospectus 2025-26 to understand the specific requirements and guidelines for admission to the MPH program.
