The eligibility criteria include a minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor's degree in any branch of Basic & Applied Science or Technology, including medicine & engineering disciplines. Additionally, for Track 1, a minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering/ Computer Sciences or related allied areas is required.

To get admission to M.Sc. in Computational and Integrative Sciences (Computational Biology) at JNU, students are admitted through the nation-wide entrance tests conducted by GAT-B and/or JNU as per the DBT and university rules. The eligibility criteria include a minimum of 55% marks in Bachelor's degree in any branch of Basic and Applied Science or Technology, including medicine and engineering disciplines. The admission procedure involves two different modes, one of which is supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The programme aims to provide rigorous training and equip students with theoretical understanding and practical mastery in state-of-art applications of computational approaches and experimental techniques to model and analyze biological and complex systems. The duration of the M.Sc. programme is four semesters, including both theory and laboratory courses, and students also execute a research project/dissertation work in the last two semesters.
