There are no exceptions or exemptions for the 60% eligibility requirement for admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course at JSS Dental College and Hospital, as per the information provided in the JSS University 2008 BDS Regulations. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually, with a minimum age of 17 years on or before December 31st of the year of admission. Additionally, for lateral entry to the third semester, a pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is required. The college also has specific requirements for attendance, with a minimum of 80% attendance in individual courses, and a minimum of 50% marks in each course to be declared pass and eligible for grades.
