No, not like I. I am very proud of my institution and very glad to be a part of it.
Placements: There are high chances of getting placed in the courses. The top recruiting companies offering internships and placements are companies like Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro. Most of the students got their internships while completing the course. The preparation for placements is very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the food is good. The college atmosphere is good, and the faculty is very good. The classrooms are well-structured, and the labs are good. The library is well-maintained and has a wide collection of books. The college provides free Wi-Fi and has a beautiful basketball court and a large playground.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students' future bright. The pass percentage is 35%. Good college for life science.
Placements: Even though the course is unknown, this college provides great placement in well-known companies. The top recruiting companies for our nutrition and dietetics course are Nestle, Accenture, etc. The average package offered for this course by the companies is around 350,000 per annum.
Infrastructure: The campus for this course or the life Science department is not as big as compared to other departments. The campus provides a small cafeteria with basic savories and beverages. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and screens. The college does not provide a hostel facility. But the area around it provides a wide range of PGs for stay.
Faculty: The teachers are well-educated, pursuing their Masters and Ph.D. The course provides complete knowledge in that field. They are easily approachable for clarifying doubts and helping us. The semester exams are not that difficult. The subjects in this course help us to gain practical knowledge.
Other: The college conducts cultural events and fests that help students to make themselves engaged and build unity among themselves. The college even provides a scholarship facility for financially unstable students. The campus does not have much crowd. The college encourages all kinds of extracurricular activities.

It is the best college in Mysore for B.Sc. biochemistry.
Placements: Placements are only applicable for M.Sc. students. The maximum salary offered is around Rs. 50,000-55,000 per month. Companies like Cipla, Biocon, Syngene, etc., visit the college to hire final year M.Sc. students. Placements are applicable to all life sciences students but M.Sc, biochemistry, and postgraduates have a much better chance.
Infrastructure: The canteen food is available at a reasonable cost. The digital library is the best of all. Hostels are amazing. The sports room is the best. The digital library provides free Wi-Fi and usage of computers. Classrooms are spacious and can accommodate multiple students. Each classroom has a smart board for presentation purposes. Each washroom is hygienic.
Faculty: Semester exams are difficult if you do not study. Everything comes within the syllabus. The course curriculum is relevant. It is based on the SGPA system. Some teachers teach the best whereas some don't. It depends on students how they grasp the knowledge. The minimum percentile is 60% and the maximum is 95%. Faculty members are good.
Other: Campus life is the best.

Best college for Bachelor's where you will get a lot of exposure related to studies.
Placements: Actually there are no placements for Bachelor course. For Masters, they have hiring. The lecturers will recommend you to go for internships, if you are outstanding, they may refer you to the companies. They will offer value added courses which will increase your credits for the academic year.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel for girls which is well maintained along with a bus facility for girls to commute from hostel to the college. The laboratories are well maintained providing a hands on experience which is required for industrial exposure. Classes, library and campus are all well maintained. You will be provided with a full speed wifi access across the campus.
Faculty: Everything is well structured for BSc. Exams will be conducted semester wise divided in 70:30 theory and CIA ECT ratio. Practical exams are held for the core papers. As this college contains only one major subject, you will be getting in depth knowledge of the subject.
Other: For students of Life science, fest will be conducted once a year where you will enjoy a lot.

Merit and demerits of joining JSS AHER.
Placements: Only 2% of students are placed in my course. I have no information about the packages. Companies like Accenture and new startups recruit here. Most of the students got internships based on their own abilities. Roles include research and development, scientists, various industries, lab technician, clinical testing, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good but can be improved. In my department, there are two labs, one for UG and one for PG. The space is limited and crowded. Though the facilities are decent, there is room for improvement, especially in the lab facilities. I am a day scholar.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified researchers and have good research knowledge. The curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't make us industry-ready as it lacks practical application. The semester exams are set well, with moderate to difficult question papers.
Other: I chose this course as I had no other option, but the best thing about it is that as you go deeper into it, you'll realize it’s very vast. The employment rate and skills can be improved.
