The faculty team of Sahyadri College is said to be okay as they are usually postgraduates (M.Tech/ Ph.D.) as suggested in student feedbacks. They follow the curriculum of SPPU for better precision in teaching, especially in CSE, lacking in industrial experience. The staffs also conduct workshops to help 300 B.E. students to hone their skills. Quality of teaching is satisfactory compared to the COEP, rather mediocre if it comes to the range of specializations. Surveys done on the part of the students indicate on slight higher side on the need for more practical education.
