The candidate must have earned a BDS from an Indian university or institute, registered with the State Dental Council, secured a provisional or permanent registration, and completed a year-long required rotating internship in a dental college that has been approved or acknowledged. Applying candidates must be enrolled in a 12-month mandatory rotatory internship or practical training programme after passing the BDS exam or holding a foreign dental degree recognised by the GoI/DCI. They will not be eligible for admission unless they have completed the programme and obtained a provisional or permanent registration, or unless they can show a certificate from the institution's head attesting to their completion of the internship by the date issued by the college.
