Candidates seeking admission to BSc allied health sciences programme must meet the MGMIHS BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or have passed the equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination can get admission to the MGMIHS BSc course. The institute also offers admission through the Lateral Entry mode for which candidates must have an undergraduate degree  Allied Health Sciences wherever corresponding Diploma courses are available in the concerned specialty.

MGM Institute’s University Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics (MGM UDPO) is a constituent unit of MGM Institute of Health Sciences (Deemed to be University u/s 3 of UGC Act, 1956) Navi Mumbai, started in 2016. MGM UDPO was established in 2014 with the aim to provide the best education of Prosthetic –Orthotic and is a private institute. The college has been accredited by NAAC with ‘A+ Grade’ and is also recognised by NBA (National Board of Accreditation). Admissions to MGM School of Physiotherapy are based on the entrance exam scores.  MGM School of Physiotherapy accepts the scores of the Common Entrance Exam (CET) conducted by the MGM Institute of Health Sciences.
