NIIT University is a well recognised University under section 2 (f) of the UGC and is notified by the government. Of Rajasthan u/a 5 of 2010. It is listed on the UGC website as well so, therefore, there is no question of it being a fraud. Coming to their MBA, well my cousin studies there and he is very much satisfied with his choice. He is doing his specialisation in Digital Marketing which is an emerging field and there are hardly any institutions that offer a dedicated specialisation in it. Along with this they even offer specialisation in Banking, E-commerce, Business Analytics and Technology Management along with usual Marketing, Finance and HR specialisations. Brilliant students are recognised here and some of my cousin's friends have been offered a scholarship, upfront by the University. Wonder how many institutions do that! Everyone has a different opinion of their own but I would say that instead of listening to people do your homework well and research more about the University. All the best. It is good. For the detailed application process, please visit the official website.

In my personal view, I would prefer NIIT University over UPES-Dehradun, for the below mentioned reasons. One of the added bonus is that of the NIIT legacy, belonging to the IT background, NIIT proves to be a strong backbone for NU. It has been in the software development and IT for the past few decades. Course structure
NU B.Tech in Computer Science with emphasis on Digital Transformation Technologies, is mainly focused on building a strong foundation in mathematical and algorithmic concepts. It has a strong industry linkage to make students industry-ready. The course is well defined and well executed as well. Even if you didn't have computer background, it is not that of an issue. There is a brief introductory session where the basis of computer Science is taught. Industry link
One of the advantages and true to the core principles of the university is the strong industry linkage. Industry professionals will work as mentors along with the faculty giving the dual advantage of academic rigor and industry relevance to students. For the batch of 2017, the placement was 100% the highest domestic package was of INR 11 Lacs per annum (international was 47.95lakh per annum). And, the average package was of INR 4.63 Lacs per annum. Data Science programme
The eighth semester is used for an industry project, which can be completed either at the industry site or in the campus under joint supervision of industry and faculty mentors. At the end of the programme, the successful candidates are hired by the industry partner. Currently the industry partner participating in this programme is IBM. Faculty for B.Tech Computer Science and Technology area at NIIT University are from well-known universities like Missouri University of Science and Technology, Roll, Missouri, USA, Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, USA and University of Minnesota at Minneapolis, USA. The faculty comes with rich prior work experience in teaching, research, industry and the government. Their research has been published in several international journals and conference proceedings.

NIIT University has been offering management programmes from 2010. 771 MBAs have passed out with an average salary of 15 Lacs per annum (which is among the highest average salary for Indian Business schools). These programmes were for working professionals. So NU has introduced Integrated MBA for Class XII completed students. First good thing is that you finish the programme in 4 years instead of 5 years. The programme includes 25 core courses, 9 domain-specific electives, 2 professional electives and 3 projects, in addition to other electives and a 24 weeks internship programme. This goes beyond conventional MBA curricula with respect to the range and intensity of courses. Also you decide upto 31% of your curriculum
specialisation is in the domains of Fintech, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, etc. This is one of the first MBA programmes in the country that recognises the growing significance of these new knowledge sectors as a part of the curriculum. So far, NIIT University could be a very good choice for you.
