Talking about mess and hostel conditions both SVNIT and VIT gives you good facility. You do get north Indian food and South Indian food separately in VIT messes. The crowd inside the VIT campus is a mixture of students from all parts of India. But if you go outside, you might face small problems with the locals.
VIT is “ a place to learn a chance to grow.” if you are keen and interested in anything, VIT gives you the opportunity to excel in that.

The most important point is that DAIICT does't have computer science. The course is ICT- information and communication technology which is sort of combination of ECE and CS and some people can do minors in computational science which is different from computer science.
