For the General AI category, the overall cutoff fell between 16537 and 22270 for the BTech CSE course. On the other hand, for the General HS category, the CSE cutoff ranged from 17114 to 17500. To get a seat at NIT Andhra Pradesh for BTech., the candidate must qualify the JEE Main cutoff. The cutoff for JEE Mains has been released category-wise for All India and Home State quota candidates. For candidates belonging to the General AI category, the cutoff rank must be between 44623 and 109600. The most competitive specialisation among the General AI category candidates turned out to be BTech in CSE. For the General Home State quota candidates, the ranks closed between 103178 and 647755. The most difficult specialisation among the General HS category candidates was also BTech in CSE.

The institute has released the cutoff category-wise for candidates seeking admission to M.Tech specialisations. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates was closed at 389 for M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, which turned out to be the most difficult specialisation. For the easiest specialisation, i.e. M.Tech. in Power Electronics and Sustainable Energy, the cutoff score was closed at 354.

Yes, you can use the same OBC-NCL certificate for both NIT Andhra Pradesh and NIT Karnataka, but only under certain terms. The certificate must be issued by a competent authority after the first of April of the admission year, clearly stating your non-creamy layer status and conforming to the central government OBC format. More importantly, your eligibility for the home state quota depends on the state where you completed your Class Twelve. For instance, if you passed from Andhra Pradesh, you qualify for home state quota only at NIT Andhra Pradesh, and not NIT Karnataka. In that case, you would fall under the other state quota for NIT Karnataka, even if the same OBC certificate is otherwise valid for category purposes
