Post-commencement: To request a refund after the programme has started, students must get a clearance or no dues from all relevant departments of the school. Once the process is complete, the refund will be processed within 15 days. The refund will be credited to the bank account details provided by the student. Pre-commencement: If a student withdraws before the course starts, the institution will refund the entire fee collected, minus a processing fee of up to Rs 1,000. Registration fee: The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Refund amount: The refundable fee amount is based on the course's important dates. Processing fees: In the case of a 100% fee refund, NMIMS will deduct 5% of the processing fees, up to a maximum deduction of Rs 5,000.  Students can request a migration or leaving certificate if they withdraw after the programme has started

NMIMS Mumbai students from economically weaker sections, including General, SC, ST, and physically handicapped categories, are eligible for a Central Sector Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded based on their performance in the Senior Secondary Examination. The total number of scholarships is divided among the State Education Boards, based on the state's population in the 18-25 age group. Students who scored above the 80th percentile and have a family income of less than INR 6 LPA will receive INR 1000 per month at the graduation level and INR 2000 per month at the postgraduate level. Those pursuing professional courses will get INR 2000 per month in the 4th and 5th year.
