NMIMS Mumbai Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Registration, Admission Process, Application Form, & Scholarships

NMIMS Mumbai admissions are a three-step process. Candidates are required to fulfil the minimum eligbility criteria to apply for the respective courses. Find below the detailed steps around NMIMS Mumbai admission process:

1. Application Form: Eligible candidates have to register for the course-wise entrance exams such as NPAT, NLAT, etc., conducted by the university. To register for the respective courses, candidates have to fill an online application form along with paying the application fee.
2. Selection Round: The university conducts various entrance exams to provide admission to respective courses. Candidates must qualify the exams with a valid score.  
3. Fee Payment: Once all the selection rounds are completed, the university release merit list. The selected candidates have to pay a certain amount of fee to confirm their seats.

No, NMIMS Mumbai generally does not accept admissions without entrance exams. Students get shortlisted based on either the exams conducted by NMIMS itself or any other national-level exams. Some of the accepted exams include:

• NMAT by GMAC for MBA
• NMIMS-CET and NPAT for UG courses

NMIMS Mumbai also offers a three-year dual degree BBA course in International Business through the Center for International Studies. This course is offered in collaboration with Kingston University, London, where two years will be taught at NMIMS Mumbai campus and the remaining one year will be taught at Kingston University. Those who pass Class 12 with 60% aggregate in the respective subjects and have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 TOEFL 80 or equivalent is required for those for whom English is not their first language or do not meet 70% and above score in the English Language are eligible to apply to this course. 

MBA is a two-year course consisting of four semesters. NMIMS Mumbai offers various Management courses including MBA, MBA in Human Resources, MBA in Law, etc. The total tuition fee for NMIMS Mumbai MBA range between INR 16 Lakh and INR 27 lakh. The fee for popular porgrammes such as BTech, BSc, BBA, and MSc is INR 6 Lacs - INR 16.3 lakh, INR 3.5 Lacs - INR 10.5 lakh, INR 1.02 Lacs - INR 44 lakh, and INR 2.2 Lacs - INR 6.25 lakh, respectively.

The modes of NMIMS University course admissions are offline and online. Admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and other courses is based on merit and scores of entrance exams. At the undergraduate level, the deemed-to-be university offers four to five-year BTech, three to five-year BBA, BSc, and other courses to students.

Candidates taking admission need to register for NMAT by GMAC. Given below is the NMIMS MBA application process:

• Visit the website to register.
• Registration at NMIMS by entering NMAT registration number.
• Pay the application fees.
• Upload documents and click on 'submit' button.

2: Selection

Candidates are selected based on NMAT score. Other than this, candidates will have to qualify for other GD/ CD rounds, followed by the PI round.

3: Final Admission

Candidates who score well in the entire selection process will be selected by the university and will be notified through mail or on the university's official website. The selected candidates are required to pay NMIMS Mumbai MBA fee to confirm their seats.

Graduate Management Admission Council conducts the NMAT exam within a particular exam timeline. Every year, NMAT exam is usually scheduled to be conducted in the last quarter of a calendar year. Candidates are able to take the exam until December. Candidates can appear for the NMAT exam three times during the testing window. Soon after taking the first exam attempt, candidates can fill the retake registration form to apply for the NMAT retake. However, one can schedule a retake of the NMAT exam 15 days after the first take.

NMIMS Mumbai offers MBA courses at various Management schools. The university has a total seat intake of 3,095 for all its MBA courses, which is inclusive of the seat intake for its all Business schools. NMIMS School of Business Management, Mumbai is the main school of the university. Admissions are offered on a total of 990 seats at this school. 

NPAT registration remains open within a window ranging between 4 months to 5 months. Candidates aspiring for admission to courses after Class 12 at NMIMS have an option to register themselves for NPAT exam as per the schedule. Candidates are allowed to fill the NPAT application form until the third week of May. Further, BBA course is taught mainly at Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce and at the SVKM's NMIMS School of Branding and Advertising. Every year, SVKMs NMIMS releases NPAT merit lists around the month of June. Candidates who take the NPAT exam within the testing window are able to find their merit position inside the login dashboard. SVKMs NMIMS releases the NPAT results online on the official exam website. Candidates can enter the login credentials to check the NPAT results via the applicant login portal. The login credentials include application number and password generated at the time of registration.

SVKMs NMIMS conducts the NPAT exam within a testing window. With the release of admission handout, NMIMS informs ths start date and end date for NPAT exam. The examination window is typically facilitated from the first week of January to the last week of May. Candidates must keep track of the official website to know NPAT exam dates and event schedule.

Only the aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements shall fill out the application form. NMIMS SBM MBA application procedure is broadly divided into two steps - NMAT registration and NMIMS registration. Candidates can apply through the NMIMS SBM Mumbai official website.
