DU SOL admission to the MCom course is both merit and entrance based. Candidates who are already a part of Delhi University are eligible to get admission directly on the basis of their performance in the last qualifying examination. For students outside DU, admission will be done on the basis of valid scores in the entrance test and personal interview, conducted by the institute. 

School of Open Learning offers financial assistance and fee concessions to help needy students. Students, who have studied in a government school and whose family income from all sources is below INR 2.5 LPA subject to submission of income certificate are eligible to avail of the fee concession scheme. Candidates seeking admission to DU SOL BA course must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a single recognised board. For SOL BA (Hons) admission, students need to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 65%. It is also necessary that the aspirant hold the pass certificate to become eligible for admission.
