With a 4 point grade point average (GPA) for each trimester or semester and the cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for all trimesters of semesters the NMIMS Hyderabad adopts  relative grading system there is no formula for translating CGPA to a percentage because grading is relative. 

The students must try to retake the examination and also try to futher improve their performance or marks in that particular subject . Failing in internal examination can be somewhere acceptable but the student should not fail in the final examination as it may affect their placements . 

 Students are not allowed to miss their examination without any appropriate reason . They may be allowed to retake their examination only after submitting their application with a valid reason of their absence. Yes, preparation for NMAT and SNAP can be done together as most of the syllabus of both the exams are identical.
