Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is one of the top-ranked universities in India and has seven campuses. Therefore, the competition for admission is very high for almost all courses. For instance, the NMAT is one exam that opens the gates to the NMIMS Institute for MBA courses. Since the institute is prestigious, there has been a phenomenal increase in the number of students applying to get admission through such an entrance exam. The cutoff for NMIMS Mumbai has been close to 95% in recent years, which means you need to score around 240+ marks in the NMAT exam. Roughly 2000–2500 students get a call for the CDPI process for an MBA at NMIMS Mumbai. Approximately less than 1% of the total applicants make the cut to the NMIMS Mumbai campus. Similarly, the selection process for this institute can be divided into the following steps:
Appear for the entrance exam like the NMAT, and the first screening will be done on the basis of your score. Once shortlisted, applicants need to appear for the Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Then the final merit list will be published, which takes into account your academics, NMAT score, work experience, performance in the CD, and performance in the PI. The ratio of students being called for PI could be assessed from previous year's statistics, where, out of more than 63,000 candidates who appeared, 2290 have been shortlisted for case discussion (CD) and personal interview (PI). This indicative number varies according to course for on- and off-campus programs.

Please refer to the following link https://www.shiksha.com/college/nmims-school-of-business-management-mumbai-vile-parle-west-46487/cutoff for the detailed review of the college. NMIMS Mumbai cut off would be based on the cut off marks decided by the University. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized educational board to apply for further admission. Also, the candidates should have scored more than 50% in the management entrance exams like CAT, MAT etc. All the best for your future.

The answer is decided based on the percentile you got. Though 223 accounts for approximately 90 percentile and the cutoff for NMIMS is 94+ percentile in NMAT. So, you will not be eligible to apply for this college. Though your question is even if your percentile is eligible your quant score is low then can you apply? So, the answer is yes you can. Because NMIMS sees the overall score and not the subjective scores so if you have a better overall score then you can apply for NMIMS.
