The RGC - Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institution offers admission to the B.Sc. in Nursing course based on the following criteria:
- Candidates should have completed two years of Pre University examination conducted by Department of Pre-University Education from recognised board or university and should obtain a minimum of not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE) taken together in the qualifying examination.
- The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.
- Candidate shall be medically fit.
For Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing:
- Passed B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or Post B.Sc in Nursing or Post certificate B.Sc Nursing of RGUHS, Karnataka or any other university accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of health science, Karnataka.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience after obtaining B.Sc Nursing (Basic), in a hospital or in Nursing educational institution or in community health setting. For candidates with post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree no such experience is needed after graduation.
- Registered in State Nursing council as Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife.
